Our annual Security Threat Environment assessment aims to inform New Zealanders about national security threats facing New Zealand, including:
- Violent Extremism and Terrorism
- Foreign Interference
- Espionage
- Insider Threat.
The assessment includes links to relevant protective security advice to help organisations and communities take steps to increase their resilience to these threats. There is also advice on how to respond if you notice concerning behaviours or activities.
By providing greater awareness of these threats, we hope to promote improved understanding and transparency and support better security outcomes for New Zealand.
